Job Description:
Our client, who specialises in the supply, installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical building services, are looking for an experienced Static Air Conditioning Engineer to work at a site in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Based in a 7 storey building the applicant must have a good understanding of servicing and fault finding VRF & Split Air Conditioning and General HVAC equipment, have an understanding of ventilation equipment and building HVAC controls systems. Other works include air filter cleaning, lamp replacement, basic plumbing tasks and organising sub contractors. To be successful you must live in or nearby to the site as you will be expected to respond to emergency call outs.
The successful applicant must be a trained & qualified air conditioning engineer and possess the relevant City & Guilds or equivalent certificates, together with a valid refrigerant gas handling certificate.
You must either have your own transport or use public transport to travel to and from work at your own expense. This role pays a salary of £22 - £27k
