Job Title Estates Mechanical Engineer
Location Aldershot
Salary £35,000 - £37,500

An established client is seeking an Estates Mechanical Engineer to carry out the following duties
Liaise with customers, staff and public bodies as appropriate
Produce mechanical Preventative Planned Maintenance work sheets and schedules
Report monthly on the progress of PPMs being undertaken
Liaise with the Authority and unit representatives to advise them of planned works being undertaken.
Manage all mechanical sub contractors which will include chairing monthly meetings and producing the minutes of the meeting.
Act as an Appointed Person for mechanical and other Health and Safety matters
Advise on energy efficiency, environmental impact and sustainable issues.
Undertake lifecycle modelling of asset performances.
Advise the Asset Manager of any changes to the assets
Produce reports on any service failure
Carry out periodical inspections of service risers and plant rooms to ensure that they are being well kept, operating in a safe environment and are compliant with statutory regulations and good engineering practices.
Ensure that the mechanical infrastructure and plant is operated safely in accordance with statutory and good engineering practices
Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Estates Engineering Manager


For this role, it is essential that you have prevoius Mechanical experience as well as working on planned and reactive maintenance.
Working hours - 8 - 4.30 (mon - fri)
